William Barkus is a Visual Effects Supervisor, Director and Compositor. He currently works in Los Angeles, specializing in digital age reduction and compositing effects. William has worked on over 50 Hollywood feature films, including Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street, Steven Spielberg's The Post and a variety of Marvel and Disney projects. Recently, the most exciting project he has been apart of was bringing to life a young Luke Skywalker in Disney's The Mandalorian. Outside of VFX work, William has directed and shot multiple projects, including both a feature length and short film set in Jakarta, Indonesia.  After growing up in New York City, William graduated from Connecticut College with a BA in film.
